This position's primary role will be responsible for working the production line as well as supporting the Production team lead in the daily repairs and maintenance of reusable stainless-steel kegs concerning quality.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Load and unload product for processing as well as sorting all inbound keg loads Assist production and warehouse team in inventory counts; shipping and receiving Repair product to include rebuilding valves, repairing empty beer kegs, removing or fixing stickers, repairing chimes, decanting and test for quality to make sure kegs meet customer specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment; utilize the 5S model of lean manufacturing practices: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain Develop competencies in a variety of production and warehouse-related jobs Work as part of a team to maximize productivity and efficiency Identify ways to improve and promote efficiency and quality Manage keg inspection and sorting projects

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and GED
  • Minimum 4 years of production/warehouse experience
  • Forklift certified
Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsThis position is in a production / manufacturing work environment. Ability to work occasional flexible, long hours based on company/volume needs. Work hours vary depending on business needs. The employee may be exposed to high noise level, manufacturing/electrical equipment, pressurized equipment, moving objects, hazardous materials, fumes/odors, dirt/dust, and warm/cold temperatures.Personal protective equipment is required when on the production floor to include steel toe boots, hearing protection and eye protection. No loose clothing, jewelry, or accessories are allowed. The employee in this position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.CompensationHiring Salary: $20.57/hr.MicroStar offers a competitive compensation package to include Fortune 500 caliber benefits, 401k + Employer Match, and PTO and Sick Leave.
