Job Details:

Are you an experienced production supervisor who thrives on the excitement of a bustling manufacturing environment? Are you bilingual with a passion for Lean Manufacturing and Food Production? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Production Supervisor for our 2nd Shift. This position offers a chance to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line during the 2nd shift. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily production activities and ensuring they align with the production schedule and quality standards.
  • Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Training, mentoring, and supervising a multicultural team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Utilizing your bilingual skills to effectively communicate with all team members.
  • Implementing and maintaining 5S workplace organization methodology to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues that may impact production, including equipment malfunctions, personnel issues, and supply shortages.
  • Collaborating with other supervisors and management to continually improve processes and procedures.

    • Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate for the Permanent Production Supervisor position will have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
  • Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience with 5S or similar workplace organization methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work the 2nd shift and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
