We currently have a great opportunity for a NIGHT SHIFT Production Supervisor located in Rock Hill, SC area.

Shift will be Sunday through Tuesday, every other Saturday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to supervise and direct a designated production shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and training shift employees, conducting performance reviews, and assisting with hiring and terminations. Ensuring production quality on press, laminator, slitter, and seamer while providing quality sign-offs is essential. You will manage equipment, personnel, and production schedules, monitoring efficiency and making necessary adjustments.

In this role, you will troubleshoot production issues and anticipate potential problems. Responsibilities include ordering production materials, reviewing ink inventory, and managing adjustments and repairs for aniloxes and tint sleeves. You will also perform minor machinery repairs and coordinate with maintenance for larger repairs. Overseeing shift clean-up procedures and ensuring readiness for the next shift is crucial. You will work on improving and implementing production procedures with other supervisors and supervise all production areas, including ink, setup, plate mounting, press operators, assistants, laminator, and seamer.

The Production Supervisor will manage a team of 10-15 production employees, handling hiring, firing, promotions, and training. This position requires 10% sitting and 90% walking/standing, the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend, as well as the capacity to handle high-stress decision-making and problem-solving. Mobility to navigate the production floor is essential.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, leadership coursework or seminars, and five years of hands-on manufacturing experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer systems, production planning, and scheduling. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are crucial, along with accurate and timely record-keeping. Mechanical aptitude and flexographic printing experience are preferred. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required, along with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and proactive management abilities. The ability to collaborate with managers and supervisors is essential, and you must be available to work 12-hour shifts, three days per week.
