Production Supervisor - Koppers : Job Details

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures direct reports abide by the SH&E policies while performing tasks resulting in a quality product treated to customer specifications.
• Oversees oil tank car unloading to meet residue reduction guidelines.
• Responsible for the operation of the treating plant's waste water system and maintains compliance with the POTW.
• Oversees the gas fired boiler for the treating process by ensuring it is running efficiently.
• Aides in maintaining the ISO system by conducting internal audits.
• In charge of the treating of railroad ties to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum one-year managerial experience in an industrial environment; five years' experience in wood treating or chemical process manufacturing preferred
• EHS awareness required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in a union environment
• Team player
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to set priorities and analyze problems
