We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with production experience, ideally in a high-performance work environment. You will lead and assist production employees, oversee workflow, and manage budgets while promoting positive communication between teams. Your ability to make strategic, on-the-job decisions, coupled with strong problem-solving skills, will be essential in achieving our operational goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and developing employees, maintaining equipment and facilities with a focus on safety, ensuring efficiency and compliance, and leading with engagement and a positive work environment.About The Job:As a Production Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Guiding production staff and ensuring daily operational goals are met.
  • Managing production and shipping processes for efficient and timely delivery.
  • Fostering effective communication between employees and management.
  • Conducting daily shift meetings to align team efforts.
  • Training employees while ensuring adherence to safety and company policies.
  • Maintaining facilities and keeping equipment safe and operational.
  • Achieving target goals for production, safety, and quality.
  • Overseeing and managing department budgets for labor and supplies.
  • Leading production and facility-related projects.
  • Implementing and maintaining best practices in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Organizing and establishing training to support skill development.
  • Leading in a way that promotes employee engagement and a positive attitude.
  • Handling additional duties as needed.
Key Skills & Requirements:
  • Decisive, proactive and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities in manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Skilled in resolving conflicts when necessary.
  • Ability to utilize computer systems including but not limited to: Epicor, Google Sheets, Nitro (PDF editor), and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds
Education And Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience supervising others, with a proven ability to manage teams effectively and maintain a supportive work environment.
Salary:
  • $65,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience.
The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting that we would be willing to pay for this position.
