We have an outstanding career opportunity for a 2nd Production Supervisorto join a leading Company located in theFalconer, NY surrounding area.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
The Production Supervisor will supervise and coordinate activities of production employees in manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Maintain a positive work environment by cooperating with management and coworkers.
+ Review production orders or schedules to check product data.
+ Inspect products to verify production quality matches the quality plan specifications and adjust corrugated equipment when needed.
+ Enforces safety, company policies, and any rules and regulations set up by management .
+ Resolves worker grievances or confers with the Production manager on unsettled grievances for action.
+ Conduct employee disciplinary actions as needed.
+ Responsible for approving and scheduling all employee vacation requests.
+ Document all reported employee accidents and follow the correct OSHA and HR procedures.
+ Train new and permanent employees in manufacturing, safety and quality procedures.
+ Resolves production and employee-related issues in the plant on a daily basis .
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Associate's Degree or equivalent four years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment .
+ Strong Microsoft Skills.
+ ERP experience.
+ Ability to lead and develop teams.
+ Ability to collaborate across the organization.
+ Previous packaging or corrugated experience a PLUS.
