Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California. We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor (Rear Axle Assembly) -Days for our Production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing his/her production activities. This includes ensuring manpower is properly distributed and that all safety, quality, productivity and cost targets are met daily. They must also provide leadership for the Production Team Leaders and ensure their focus and resources are utilized efficiently. The Supervisor must keep their leadership team informed of all significant activities, and of performance within the Production Department. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inventory levels and control of stocked component parts in MRO
- Coordinate physical inventory activities.
- Responsible for SAFETY throughout plant areas.
- Communicate abnormal inventory levels of component parts.
- Actively participate in plantwide cost reduction activities.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Analyze usage report outs by area.
- Ensure lead times are accurately reported.
- Manage open order reports daily.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in a business or operations management related field preferred.
- 5-10+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Three years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in an Automotive Manufacturing and/or Assembly Environment
