You will direct the workforce by supervising employees to produce a quality product in a profitable and timely manner. You'll be responsible to maintain all plant equipment to OEM specifications and OSHA regulations. Standard operations include check in process and completed work, assuring that shipping dates are met as scheduled, making recommendations for improvements, and assuring that global guidelines are being followed. Your recommendation for new start-up tools and equipment, troubleshooting and improvements for production installations will also be required.
EXPECTATIONS
To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of machine tool and fabricating operations with a good mechanical aptitude. Your desire to support and work closely with production workers along with providing a quality product to our customers will ensure your success in this position.
To further succeed in this role your will need
High School education or equivalent with a desired knowledge of paper making processes or of machine tool and fabricating operations with a good mechanical aptitude. Experience in supervision, discipline as required on employee relations, safe practices while adhering to the collective bargaining agreement, company's personnel policies and state and federal rules and regulations.
