Production Supervisor - Roxell : Job Details

What You Will Do:

As the Production Supervisor, you will prepare, plan, organize, lead, and monitor the production activities of the department within the framework of the proposed safety and quality standards,

What You Will Accomplish:

• Guarantee production output according to the established sales budget and current orders on hand.
• Proactively manage quality initiatives through continuous improvement activities, monitoring output, and participating in quality meetings,
• Coach, develop, and mentor employees to optimally utilize and enhance their competencies, skills, and know-how.
• Monitor compliance with Safety policies to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
• Research, create, and implement performance initiatives to enhance output, quality standards, and cost reductions year-over-year.

Position Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in technical field highly preferred; May consider combination of coursework and relevant work experience
• Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Certification(s): n/a
• Functional Skills: Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills; Exceptional technical/mechanical aptitude; Excellent ability to balance multiple priorities and competing tasks; Detailed, analytical, and strategic; Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics; Strong understanding of safety and OSHA regulations; Previous experience with manufacturing equipment such as press brakes, lasers, and stampers
• Technology Aptitude/Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; Previous experience with ERP/WMS highly preferred
• Language Skills: Strong communication skills; Ability to interact with a wide variety of personalities

Other Important Information:

Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.

Reports To: Plant Manager

Typical Work Week: 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday (will need to stagger hours to overlap shifts occasionally); Occasional OT on Fridays

Direct Reports: 20 full-time direct reports; up to 20 additional temp direct reports

Work Conditions: Primarily manufacturing environment

Travel: Minimal; Occasional visits to Belgium
