Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Bennettsville, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager production supervisorto join their growing team! The main responsibility of a production supervisor is to supervise employees in a food processing and assembling environment: plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, operating procedures and working conditions. Role Qualifications:
- Must be able to improve working conditions (safety, quality, productivity, and cost) and increase subordinates' skills and capabilities.
- Must be able to assist Operations Manager in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedure, safety, quality control, and performance management.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
- Balances quality, productivity, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas.
- Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides reports to the Operations Manager.
- Provides leadership through a 90-day probationary period.
- Performs accident investigations.
- Maintains proper inventory levels.
- Manages department priorities.
- Tracks time and attendance in KRONOS.
- Is responsible for all other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's or Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred . High School diploma or equivalent required; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
