Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift Spa LLC., a TRG Company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Production Supervisor in Milford, OH for 3rd shift. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the production lines and oversees the daily job functions of employees to ensure each job is completed correctly and in a timely manner. 3rd shift hours are Sunday through Wednesday from 8pm-6:30am; may require additional hours, including weekends depending on business needs. As a Production Supervisor you will:
- Read and follow instructions as provided by Production Manager.
- Assist in setup and tear-down of line components as needed.
- Lead and work together with crew/team in assembly line projects.
- Allocate personnel to maximize piece-rate speed on tasks assigned.
- Adhere to production schedule and make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
- Accurately report/track assembly information to include materials consumed, materials returned to stock, and materials damaged.
- Monitor quality, including, but not limited to: Quantity of components, tears, item identification, food safety, line clearance, expiration dates, and lot control.
- Inform Production Manager of any needed materials or material running low.
- Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs, be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
- Complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Practice safe work habits at all times and set the example for all production workers.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Cross-train for other job positions as necessary and switch duties as needed.
- Ability to move to other shifts to aid in training,
- Ability to work overtime as the job requires
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
