Job Description :
Business Unit: Cubic Integrated Supply Chain Company Details: Oversees and organizes manufacturing personnel to perform tasks to produce a reliable quality product with on-time delivery. Plans and assigns upcoming sub-assemblies and final assemblies to meet schedule deadlines while monitoring for continuous improvements in cycle times and overall capacity planning. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. Job Details:
  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of workers in the manufacturing and test process.
  • Studies production schedules and estimates work hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
  • Maintains budgets on all projects.
  • Ensures inventory controls, inventory levels and flow of materials (including shipment of finished goods) are consistent with budgets and forecasts for manufacturing and customer service requirements.
  • Assigns duties; interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules, using knowledge of capacities of machines, tools and equipment.
  • Ensures compliance to safety, environmental and security requirements within the production/test areas.
  • Ensures compliance to all product line test requirements per engineering definitions.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work crews.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Ensures conformance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Performs supervisory duties such as interviewing and selecting employees, training, coaching and providing feedback, preparing performance evaluations, handling disciplinary matters and making pay recommendations.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree, or equivalent, in a technical field plus a minimum of six years supervisory manufacturing experience desired.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Mentally capable of performing responsibilities under potentially high levels of stress.
  • Ability to set priorities and handle multiple assignments.

Cubic Pay Range:

$90k - $95k+ benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Cubic Pay Range:

$90,000.00 - $95,000.00 + benefits.
