Production Supervisor - Appvion : Job Details

Appleton, WI | 12-hour swing shift (6 AM-6 PM & 6 PM-6 AM, rotating schedule)

This role is all about leading and coaching - ensuring that production runs smoothly while fostering a safe, high-performing work environment. You'll work closely with our Design Team Manager (DTM) to drive success and support your team in achieving their goals.

What You'll Do:

• Lead & Inspire - Guide your shift to hit key targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Coach & Develop - Mentor team members to improve production performance.
• Ensure Safety First - Promote a zero-injury workplace by enforcing safety standards.
• Problem-Solve & Improve - Identify and resolve production issues through root-cause analysis.
• Standardize & Optimize - Assist in developing work procedures, conducting audits, and refining processes.
• Drive Performance - Monitor team progress against scorecard goals and provide feedback.
• Lead with Confidence - Handle team concerns, resolve conflicts, and address performance matters.

What You Bring:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management OR equivalent work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Leadership Skills: 1-3 years of team leadership in manufacturing with knowledge of Lean principles.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and implement solutions efficiently.
• Communication & People Skills: Strong ability to motivate, mentor, and work cross-functionally.
• Adaptability & Initiative: Thrives in fast-changing environments, willing to work all shifts as needed.
• Commitment to Excellence: A continuous improvement mindset that drives innovation and efficiency.
