Warehouse Supervisor Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

• Receive and unload pallets and products

• Ensure that labor follows all instructions, and that paperwork is filled out accurately.

• Supervise Teamsters on devans and load outs: Assist Operations Manager to advise as to load patterns, etc., to ensure stable cargo placement and integrity

• Carefully handle fragile merchandise

• Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times

• Assistant Operations manager to hold Union employees accountable for adhering to contractual agreement and all regulatory requirements.

• Assist Operations Manager on training and retraining new and current employees

• Prepare all orders for shipment

• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items

• Operate appropriate warehouse machinery (for example, forklift)

• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs

• Move product from and to pallets

• Wrap and prepare pallets for shipping

Warehouse Supervisor Shift Info

• Day Shift, 7:00 to 3:30

• Monday - Friday

Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Warehouse Supervisor experience preferred

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen including THC for this position

• Able to pass a background check

• Must have forklift experience, minimum requirement is 5 consecutive years.

• Loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, flatbeds.

• Management or Supervisor experience. Past experience will be considered.

• Experience moving over sized material, like pipe, lumber, etc.

• Solid work history that demonstrates reliability

• Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 or more pounds regularly

• Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases

• Excellent attendance with a stable work history

• Able to work as an active member of a team

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of managemen

• Able to work in the US.
