Industry leading total solutions provider for a wide variety of products and components to a range of industries is currently looking for Production Supervisors in South Bend, Indiana (Elkhart) just minutes away from The University of Notre Dame.This is a leadership role in which you will have 10-18 direct reports. Their engineering prowess and Total Project Management capabilities deliver innovative solutions and a seamless development, production, and delivery process.Duties:- Produces materials according to specific instructions- Checks materials to ensure they meet quality standards- Ensures proper packaging of material according to instructions- Ensures all quality procedures are followed and documented throughout the production process- Performs in-process inspections as required- Reports any failures in the process to the appropriate personnel- Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, or quality system- Complete all required paperwork- Answers questions from fellow team members pertaining to production procedures and equipment operation- Assists with training team members in equipment operation, production, and safety procedures- Coordinates team activities to meet goals using personnel and equipment- Maintains and fosters team harmony- Maintains good Five-S practices and proper maintenance of facility and equipment- Provides production reports as needed- Reviews and monitors fluid levels in machinery and provides general preventive maintenance as requiredBase DOE, bonus, 401k, medical, dental, life, PTO, plus profit sharing.
