JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
To support and maintain production and distributes production materials to specified lines. Will be responsible for assisting in the training and break reliefs
Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System.

1.
65% Pulling materials or packaging from production staging area and delivering production materials or packaging and staging on lines. The Material Handler works independently with little supervisory direction. Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials or packaging according job order listed on schedule. Coordinate and plan materials or packaging with operator and warehouse supply for replenishment to line or production staging area location.

30% Maintain proper supplies by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and packaging in production staging area and documenting materials and packaging delivered and location of units. Maintain in-process inventory on the production lines by delivering materials on a timely basis. Investigate, identify and correct transactional and/or procedural problems related to inventory accuracy in coordination with operators and/or supervisor. Makes routine and process recommendations to improve inventory accuracy on change over and correctness of transactions between lines. Keep production area clean and uncluttered doing production operation.

5% Responsible for complying with all safety policy and GMP protocols at all times. Performs other duties as needed or assigned by supervisor.

Willingness to continue education through approved courses or classes that will enhance personal and professional growth.
Years and Type of Related Experience Required:
Manufacturing experience preferred.

Hand trucks, hand tape dispenser and other required hand tools.
