Production Support Specialist - Beacon Hill : Job Details

We're seeking a skilled Production Support Specialist to join our top client's healthcare enrollment team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Location: Moon Township, PA or Downers Grove, IL

Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Contract to Hire

Conversion Salary Target: $100,000 - $110,000

About the Role

• In this role, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the organization's enrollment systems. This role supports key periods like the annual Medicare enrollment from and the Exchange Program.
• You will work on CMS data processing, handle claims processing, resolve Tidal-related issues, and collaborate with vendors on system defects and enhancements.

Key Focus Areas:

• Linux Shell Scripting
• Tidal (Job Scheduling)
• SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) & File Transfer Processing
• Medicare or Healthcare Industry experience

On-Call Support:

• This position requires being on-call one week per month to ensure 24/7 coverage for the team, including off-hours and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and integrate software applications, ensuring stability and smooth implementation of updates.
• Design application management systems for day-to-day operations and support.
• Develop protocols for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ticket resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the flow of knowledge and ticket handling between service desks and application support.
• Establish strong relationships with application owners and business users to meet service expectations.
• Support and participate in infrastructure maintenance and application releases.
• Monitor daily processes and maintain system support documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in the healthcare insurance industry, particularly in Medicare enrollment, file processing, and exchanges.
• 3+ years of experience in supporting multi-tier applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and Shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of batch processing and monitoring technologies.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with business acumen covering enrollment to claims processing workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in event and incident management across teams.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
