Production Support Specialist - Akkodis : Job Details

Akkodis is seeking a Production Support Specialist Lead for a 6+ Months Contract To Hire position with a client located in Tampa, FL. Ideally looking for applicants with experience in Cloud, RDBMS, Scripting Language, Middleware etc.

Pay Range: $55 - $58/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description:

• Core skill experience in Java/J2EE, Unix, Linux, Windows
• Experience on Cloud Technologies (AWS services (S3,EC2,Lambda,SQS,IAM roles), Azure, OpenShift, RDS Aurora, Postgress)
• Experience on Middleware experience (Solace, Tomcat, Liberty Server, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss)
• Familiarity working with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, Snowflake) and PL/SQL
• Exposure to Messaging Queue Systems (IBM MQ, Oracle AQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Knowledge Monitoring and Data Tools experience (Splunk, DynaTrace, Thousand Eyes, Grafana, Selenium,HiPam IBM Zolda)
• knowledge of Scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, Shell, Perl, JavaScript)
• Exposure to Mainframe troubleshooting and support skills (COBOL, JCL, DB2, DB2 Stored Procedures, CICS, SPUFI, File aid) - Preferred
• Exposure to Mainframe scheduling (Job abends, Predecessor/Successor) - - Preferred

• This is a lead role
• Years Experience: 7 to 12 Years
• Mainframe exposure is fine, not must have
• We need application support candidates and NOT cloud or Containers Admin.
