- We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Specialist with expertise in file transfer management, particularly in the context of B2B integrations and Medicaid/Medicare data exchanges.
- The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Axway B2Bi, IPSwitch/WSFTP, ULTRAEDIT, Sentinel Web dashboard, and CFT for managing manual file transfers, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operations of critical healthcare data workflows.
- As part of the Production Support Team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of data transfers, ensuring the timely exchange of files.
- You will monitor file transfers, address any issues, and communicate effectively with users regarding system health and data status.
- Your role will also include supporting data quality, creating and troubleshooting file transfer scripts, and escalating issues when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:File Transfer Management:
- Perform manual file transfers for Medicaid and Medicare data using Axway B2Bi and other tools like IPSwitch/WSFTP.
- Manage file transfer operations, including the zip/unzip, renaming, and processing of data files to ensure proper handling of sensitive data.
- Ensure that files are correctly transferred, processed, and delivered to the appropriate recipients without loss or corruption of data.
Axway B2Bi Management:
- Utilize Axway B2Bi for managing business-to-business integrations, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant file exchanges between internal and external entities.
- Monitor the Axway B2Bi platform for successful file transmission, troubleshoot any issues, and escalate where necessary.
Sentinel Web Dashboard Monitoring:
- Use the Sentinel Web dashboard to monitor and track file transfer statuses, ensuring all transfers are completed within service level agreements (SLAs).
- Generate alerts and notifications for successful or failed transfers, ensuring users are notified promptly of any issues.
File Handling & Data Processing:

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in production support, with expertise in file transfer management, especially in the context of Medicaid and Medicare data transfers.
- Proficiency with Axway B2Bi for managing business-to-business file exchanges and integrating various systems.
- Hands-on experience with IPSwitch/WSFTP, ULTRAEDIT, CFT, and Sentinel Web dashboard for monitoring and managing file transfers and associated workflows.
- Strong file management skills such as zipping/unzipping, renaming files, and ensuring the proper integrity and formatting of transferred files.
- Knowledge of manual file transfer procedures and protocols, specifically for Medicaid and Medicare data exchanges.
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell commands for file manipulation, and batch scripts to automate manual file processing.
- Solid understanding of file encryption and secure file transfer protocols to maintain data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting through Sentinel Web dashboard, ensuring proactive identification of issues in the file transfer pipeline.
- Ability to provide user support and communication by notifying stakeholders regarding the success or failure of transfers, along with troubleshooting assistance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve issues in the file transfer process, with the ability to escalate issues as needed.
