Production Supports - 2nd Shift - Legacy Talent Search : Job Details

Legacy Talent Search is hiring a Production Support in Portland. This company has built an excellent name for itself over the years and has grown to be a leader in its industry. Pride is taken every step of the way in their manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Assist with the preparation, mixing, and culturing of dairy products following company recipes and quality standards.
• Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to maintain consistency.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in production areas to comply with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMPs).
• Load and unload raw materials and packaged goods, ensuring proper storage and inventory tracking.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and resolve operational issues.
• Accurately document production processes, ingredient usage, and other relevant data.
• Participate in routine cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment and facilities.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in food manufacturing or production is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines is preferred but not required (training provided).
