In addition to a base wage, every associate is eligible for quarterly profit sharing!! The right candidate must possess a positive attitude and a strong ability to work with others to further the Company's core values of Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork.Position Summary:The Production Team Lead role is responsible for ensuring department associates have the resources needed to successfully perform the requirements of their positions. This role works to improve department processes which ensure the safety, quality, delivery and lean operations for the production line. This person may also be responsible for creating and monitoring standard work, auditing production data, and working with production associates to meet daily goals.Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience leading a team and promote collaboration
  • Experience with data collection and internal process documentation
  • Ability to learn and work with computer software including Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to identify and work with different personalities to achieve defined goals and objectives
  • Leadership and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication including the ability to develop team skills and manage conflict
  • Ability to coach associates at various job tasks
  • Ability to be hands-on to maintain production, which may include use and operation of CNC machines, tool setting, in-line gaging, and securing successful delivery of supplies
  • Experience with OSHA standards and enforcing safety policies and procedures
  • Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement, including A3 and Kaizen
  • Ability to work well under pressure and must be able to multitask
  • Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule to meet production goals
Physical Demands:Associates are frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position can involve sitting, walking and lifting up to 40 pounds several times throughout the day. Job is performed standing all day. Job requires substantial movement/motion with regard to walking, bending, lifting, grasping and applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palms.Requirements:You must be a minimum of 18 years old, and able to pass both a background and drug screen.*Quarterly profit sharing for associates is based on the Company's profits earned for the quarter.
