We will work with you if you are needed to flex to a different schedule for coverage.Worthington Steel Offers You:New Minimum Starting Pay $20/hour + $1.50 Shift Differential for 2nd shift and $0.75 Shift Differential for 3rd shiftProfit Sharing starting after 90 days of hire with quarterly payoutsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance starting on your first day of hire401k savings plan with company contribution and employee matchPaid holidays and vacation timeEmployee developmentFull tuition reimbursementKey Position Responsibilities:Set up machines for use and perform multiple daily tasks to ensure safe and quality production.Package/band, weigh, and load/unload material from machines as well as staging material.Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to perform duties to the highest standard.Desired Experience:Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for 8 hrs. a day - must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when neededMust have good hand-eye coordinationMechanical aptitude a plus, but not requiredCompetent in basic math and computer skillsCan operate banding toolsCan read a tape measureMust be able to handle small partsMust understand and follow the quality policy and proceduresAbility to recognize quality issues and problems - detect defectsMust be able to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions on productions and understand EnglishMust be able to read and understand the bill of material and or production orderMust be able to distinguish between part numbers and sizesMust be able to count and label parts accuratelyMust follow all safety policies and proceduresMust have good safety awareness and efficiency skillsOral and written communication skills - including legible writingManufacturing or construction experienceRequired OSHA safety training#J-18808-Ljbffr
