Production Team MemberA local manufacturing company in the Oil City area is looking for a Production Team Member.
Responsibilities- Work from work instructions and follow routers, corrective actions, and other forms of written, verbal, and visual instruction.
- Maintain and operate equipment to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Maintain adequate inventories of spare parts and equipment.
- Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries to Production Team Leader.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept in a proper and safe working condition.
- Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance.
- Communicate with all plant and office personnel.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is not operating properly.
- Assist with team projects.
- Effectively manage your time and performance.
Qualifications and Skills- Basic math skills including fractions and percentages.
- Basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic skills including troubleshooting.
- Understand purpose and proper use of small hand and power tools.
- Understand the use and calibration of measuring devices - calipers, micrometers, and scales.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including troubleshooting.
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
- Inventory management.
- Self-motivation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate with other plant personnel.
- Basic computer skills.
- High School/Vocational School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Preferred experience as a manufacturing line operator or similar training and experience.
- The employee will lift and move heavy items, which requires repeatedly lifting 30 pounds to a height of 4 feet.
- The employee will be moving around, which will require the ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours.
- The employee will be handling materials daily, which requires the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.
Benefits/Compensation- Full Time
- Pay Rate is $14 per hour
