Production Technician

This position is responsible for the overall coordination of well operation activities, along with monitoring all aspects of pattern performance. Works collaboratively to maximize production, from every wellbore through thorough review analysis and action, while controlling cost, and minimizing downtime in a safe, clean and responsible manner.

Requirements

  • Provide production operations support
  • Gauge tanks, read meters and record data
  • Inspect equipment and facilities for problems and do minor repairs
  • Shoot fluid levels
  • Adhere to all environmental and safety policies
  • Communicate with Production team and other production techs on a daily basis
  • Coordinate oil sales and water hauling
  • Maintain gauge sheets properly and note reasons for production changes
  • Ability to maintain, operate, and repair surface equipment associated with the production of oil and gas
  • Ability to identify problems, generate novel approaches, and implement solutions
  • Keep Company vehicle maintained and in good working condition

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Entry-level positions require a high school or GED diploma along with previous experience in production
  • Community colleges and vocational-technical schools in a related field
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Practices and encourages open, honest, and timely communication
  • Lead and foster a culture of ethical behavior that supports compliance programs
  • Self-starter with sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Practice safe work habits at all times
  • Must maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies
  • Must be able to work rotating shift
  • Must be available for call outs on a scheduled basis
  • Must be available to work in increment weather
  • Must be physically able to lift >50 lbs and climb ladders/stairways

Compensation details: 28-38 Hourly Wage
