Responsibilities:
- Assemble and finish quality prosthetic denture products, and completes repairs, and relines according to established procedures and under the clinical direction of the treating Doctor.
- Post-print process and finish quality Occlusal guard products and surgical implant guides.
- Utilize nesting software to prepare quality prints.
- Optimizes Laboratory production by organizing and prioritizing daily work and following the denture scheduler (Lab Rx).
- Eliminates barriers to meet or exceed denture delivery dates and partners with designers to resolve quality fabrication issues.
- Follows quality standards to reduce remakes and patient satisfaction issues.
- Partners with the treating Doctors to ensure dentures exceed patient expectations; provides chair side support (where permissible and in accordance with applicable laws) when needed to address patient needs.
- Supports Laboratory pilot initiatives.
- Completes required digital case sharing and shipping receiving points.
- Follows predetermined budgetary guidelines to stock and maintain supply inventories and prepares Laboratory supply orders.
- Performs general lab equipment maintenance and reports and follows-up on lab equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs with the Office Manager.
- Follow housekeeping guidelines to maintain a neat and orderly Laboratory.
- Complies with established health and safety regulations, including the use of required personal protective equipment and engineering controls.
- Provides regular feedback to the Office Manager, Division Director Laboratory Support, and Regional Managers to help improve digital and lab performance and patient care.
- Maintains and updates annual CE requirement as specified by state
- Follows OSHA regulations and Aspen safety requirements, including compliance with HIPPA guidelines.
- Maintains and updates annual CE requirement as specified by state; completes CPR training.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excited to learn and interested in training to become a quality Digital Dentistry expert with a focus on denture printing, assembly, and digital scanning.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to multi-task and follow detailed directions without difficulty.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior dental lab or dental assisting experience preferred.
