Position Summary

The Production Technician is an essential role that is responsible for the manufacturing and quality control of chemical cleaning compounds at our South Windsor, CT facility. In addition to chemical manufacturing, this role will oversee the warehouse and loading dock during business hours. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (hours are negotiable). The Production Technician will learn all aspects of manufacturing in a growing organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Overseeing and performing the daily manufacturing of custom blended cleaning products.
• Maintaining accurate quality assurance and production logs.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized lab and workshop.
• Performing routine maintenance on company equipment.
• Managing the inventory, ordering and unloading of raw materials in a warehouse setting.
• Operating a forklift and service van.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions
• Ability to work as part of a team as needed
• Organization and time management in an independent setting
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
