Production Utility - Mayhew Steel Products : Job Details

Description Deerfield Packaging is looking for hardworking, self-motivated individuals to assist with day-to-day production tasks and organization in the production and warehouse departments. Job Characteristics- The Main function of the job will be to assist the machine operators' tasks needed to complete production goals. Includes but not limited to: Boxing, packaging, picking and general labor assistance in the production/ warehouse departments. Machine operation may be required. Required Skills

• Willing to take initiative and identify work needs
• Close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work with a team to accomplish company goals
• Strict attention to safety procedures and guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adherence to attendance policy

Required Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education/Experience

• 1+ year in a manufacturing atmosphere would be helpful but not required.
