Job Title: Production Worker - Crate Manufacturing

Overview: Join our team at Crate Masters, a leading manufacturer of high-quality crates and packaging solutions. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Production Worker in our crate manufacturing warehouse. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in our production process, contributing to the creation of durable and reliable crates that meet the needs of our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

1. Assembly: Construct crates according to specified dimensions and design requirements using various hand and power tools.

2. Quality Control: Inspect finished crates for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

3. Material Handling: Safely handle and transport raw materials and finished products within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as necessary.

4. Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management tasks such as counting, organizing, and replenishing stock to ensure adequate supply levels.

5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

6. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines effectively.

7. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.

8. Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a plus.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
