Production Worker - Aerotek : Job Details

Job Title: General LaborerJob DescriptionWe are looking for individuals to join our team on 2nd shift to start out as general laborers. In this position, candidates will be responsible for entry-level tasks such as pulling product from the yard to move through the production process. Responsibilities include bringing lumber from outside to inside, replenishing lines, standing at the end of a saw to stack finished cuts, and moving products on the wall panel or truss production line. The job involves lifting up to 75 lbs but consistently handling 30-40 lbs. Candidates must be comfortable on their feet all day and performing manual labor. Additionally, candidates will read blueprints, assemble custom wall or roof trusses, use hand tools and tape measures, and work with other team members. The work is repetitive, involving the same task multiple times before switching. General labor positions in the yard expose candidates to various weather conditions, including wind, rain, and snow. The facility is clean but tight, with 30-40 individuals working during each shift.
