Production Worker - Hood Plywood : Job Details

If you said yes to these questions, then our Production Associate position at our Beaumont, MS plywood mill might be right for you. Hood Industries, Inc. is a blend of wood manufacturing and distribution facilities that include plywood and lumber manufacturing plants, and twenty-four specialty wood product distribution operations, located in eighteen states serving the northeast, southeast and southwest United States. These positions are entry-level and full-time positions. Day shifts and night shifts are also available. Rehires are welcome to apply. Hood pays weekly. Paid Time Off (PTO) available after only six (6) months of employment. Working conditions:

• Must be willing and able to work in hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment. Standing, walking, climbing, repetitive bending, repetitive stooping, repetitive reaching with arms and repetitive grasping with hands and fingers.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment working around production machines, warehouse equipment, forklifts, and large trucks.
