Production Worker - Packaging - $17/hr - LC Staffing : Job Details

Production Worker Missoula, MT - Temporary position for 2 monthsA leading company in manufacturing and distribution in Missoula is hiring a temporary production worker for approximately 2 months. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging products efficiently and securely, ensuring that all items are properly prepared for shipment.Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Examine and inspect instruments and packaging components to ensure that product quality and packaging specifications are met, applying tip protectors when required
• Ensure that the label detail matches the instrument part number and lot code
• Close and seal product enclosures (envelopes & clamshells) upon completion of packing
• Record product, packaging, and order details on specified forms, batch records, and logs
• Remove and report any incomplete or defective products for quality review

• Starting wage: $17/hour DOE
• Hours: Monday - Friday. 8-hour shifts with the flexibility to start between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 months of similar job experience is a plus
• Able to speak and read English
• Math and reasoning skills
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent hand/eye coordination and good manual dexterity
• Team player and strong work ethic
• Ability to work under deadlines
