We have immediate openings for EXPERIENCED trusted and heartfelt Caregivers to join our Home Instead family! As a Home Instead Caregiver, you are just as important as the clients we serve. This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of each client. Responsibilities include:

The responsibilities include helping seniors thrive from the comfort of their home by building lasting relationships, engaging in household activities, and assisting in personal care (toileting, bathing, etc.)

Home Instead provides non-medical care that allows seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. You must be able to:

  • Have the ability to communicate professionally with clients.
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation.
  • Display the ability to treat seniors and their property with respect.
  • Provide direct care to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
  • Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with personal care, including toileting and incontinence.
  • Complete light housekeeping tasks and meal preparations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of client's home.
  • Run errands and have transportation.
  • Provide stabilization and assistance with walking and transferring.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have a reliable car and current auto insurance
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Must be able to pass a criminal and Orchard's background check
  • Experience with personal care (assistance with toileting, incontinence, bathing, grooming)
  • Experience with transfer equipment (Gait belts, Hoyer's etc.)
  • Experience with Alzheimer's&Dementia
  • Experience with Behaviors
  • Must be able and willing to lift 25lbs
