The instructor's duties and responsibilities are teaching students and performing a variety of administrative duties.Minimum Required EducationAssociates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required. Must possess a valid NRA ServSafe Certificate.Minimum Required ExperienceFive years of food service or industry-related experience required. Culinary team member and past teaching experience (hospitality and culinary-related courses) will reflect positively upon the applicant's resume.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities+ Must be punctual, dependable and have the ability to follow directions and proficiently complete tasks.+ Must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to interact with students during course lectures and food demonstration phases.+ Must possess a basic understanding of the skills and knowledge related to all hospitality, culinary arts and baking related program courses.+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
