This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of the Head Start classroom and start a career track to becoming a Head Start Teacher. This position may also assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must be 18 years of age. This is an entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience unless there is a local or state regulation that requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Some states may require additional requirements for kitchen aide duties (i.e., Safe Serve).In many cases, we can help Applicant meet the minimum educational requirements after hire.
