The Global Program & Product Director - Electrical Systems oversees the effective development, implementation, and management of global strategies for electrical systems products and programs in the Construction and Ag markets. This leadership role involves aligning commercial teams, product development, and operations with market needs, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of electrical system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a global product and program strategy for electrical systems, ensuring alignment with company profitable growth objectives.
  • Identify and lead new market opportunities and drive innovation in electrical system solutions.

Program Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of electrical system programs, from concept to delivery.
  • Establish program goals, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure inventory levels are adequate to support the customers and business requirements.

Product Development:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of new electrical products and systems, including design, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to drive product innovation.

Customer Focus:

  • Lead the quotations team for your assigned market segments/customers to ensure that we are meeting all business requirements.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product and delivery requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for global clients regarding product-related inquiries and issues.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing global team of program managers, engineers, and product specialists.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to refine product strategies.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in electrical systems.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure products and programs comply with global standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and market deployment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in product management, program management, or engineering leadership roles, preferably in electrical systems.
  • Proven track record of leading global teams and managing complex, multinational projects.
  • Skills: Strong technical expertise in electrical systems, including design, testing, and implementation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP certification is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-cultural teams.
