The Selikoff Centers for Occupational Health is looking for a candidate with experience working in human resources and/or education background in human resources. Knowledge of HR/Payroll policies and procedures. Someone with experience working in a clinic setting, preferred office management background or supervisory experience. This position will report to the Manhattan clinic location and will be flexible hybrid both in clinic and remote work. Responsibilities Payroll Transactions Electronic personnel file maintenance Conducting orientations for new staff Provide office support to clinical managers for housekeeping, telecommunications and engineering issues, office supply ordering and restock, and back-up coverage. Maintains liaison with staff in other departments to coordinate program activities and training; to accomplish program objectives; and to ensure cooperative efforts are enhanced and available resources are utilized. Assists in monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness; demonstrates continuous efforts to improve support operations and systems, to streamline work processes and to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the program. Provides assistance to staff in assigned areas to ensure program objectives are accomplished. May coordinate and oversees grant related issues, reporting of program statistics and the implementation of data collection procedures. Assists in administering program procedures and systems. May ensure information is disseminated to staff regarding program and Mount Sinai Medical Centers policies and procedures. Assists in the planning, coordination and implementation of seminars, conferences and workshops. Recommends new ideas and concepts for program themes, materials and resources to supplement, expand or replace existing program components. Qualifications Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree when the experiences are closely related to the duties of the job. The salary range for the role is $62571.36 - $78000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
