Program Coordinator - PCS - Eastwood : Job Details

Position Title: Program Coordinator Location: Eastwood Home, Redwood Falls, MN Classification: Exempt HiringCompensation : Starting wage is $21.50 to $23 depending upon experience and qualifications. About the job : As a ProgramCoordinator, you are responsible for all aspects of our 24-hour operation ofprogram serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, braininjuries, challenging behaviors and/or mental health needs. This includes supervision and training ofstaff , ensuring coordination and execution of person-centeredprogramming and positive support services for people served, day to daycoordination of program, maintaining records and ensuring compliance withregulatory agencies. Essential job responsibilities include, but notlimited to:

• Develop,implement, evaluate, update, and train on each person's services, supports, andoutcomes
• Ensure the needs and program expectations ofpersons served are met 24 hours/day
• Follow recipes, menus and diets as ordered whenpreparing and serving meals/snacks
• Ensuremedical treatments and medications are ordered, secured, stored, documented,and given as medically ordered
• Communicateprofessionally and courteously with people we serve and their family members,outside services and providers, all PCS staff, and the public
• Developand maintain staff schedules including approving/denying staff requests fortime off
• Hire,discipline, and terminate staff in conjunction with Assistant ProgramAdministrator/Program Administrator/Regional Director/Human Resources
• Completeemployee performance reviews and shift observations
• Ensure documentation of daily programinformation
• Attendand/or lead all in-services and other staff meetings

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or as dictated bylicensure
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED
• Must pass DHS background clearance
• Must have valid driver's license and meetcompany driving criteria
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend andcommunicate in English
• Experience in the field as a nurse, a two-year associatedegree and/or experience as a direct care worker preferred
