You will play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with schools, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders, driving engagement and participation in our programs. The SIFMA Foundation is the leader in financial education, committed to preparing youth for a financially savvy future.Our flagship programs, including The Stock Market Game™, InvestWrite® national essay competition, the Capitol Hill Challenge™, and Invest It Forward®, have empowered over 23 million students since 1977.We are seeking a highly energetic and proactive Program Coordinator to support our National Stock Market Game Director and team to amplify our reach and impact, especially among underserved youth. Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Spearhead the administration and enhancement of The Stock Market Game (SMG) and other key Foundation programs. This includes customer service, program updates, registration processes, and scheduling. Provide support to participants and partners across various locations, ensuring efficient program delivery.
- Engagement & Outreach: Build and strengthen relationships with schools and non-profit organizations. Develop targeted outreach strategies to engage these groups and increase participation in our programs.Work closely with educational institutions and community organizations to address their needs and demonstrate the value of our financial education programs.
- Marketing & Public Relations: Lead efforts to expand the visibility and reach of SMG, Capitol Hill Challenge (CHC), InvestWrite, SMG InvestQuest™ and Invest It Forward (IIF) programs. Design and execute compelling marketing campaigns, analyze their effectiveness, and refine strategies to meet program goals.
- Research & Development: Conduct research on educational trends and best practices. Utilize findings to assist in enhancing program offerings to ensure they are aligned with current educational needs and standards.
- Representation & Training: Represent the SIFMA Foundation and SMG program at conferences and assist or lead teacher training workshops/webinars, providing valuable insights and resources on the use of our programs.
- Database & Content Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of program databases and files. Develop email communications, presentation materials, reports, and press releases to support program initiatives and engagement.
- General Support: Provide comprehensive support for various program-related activities, including preparing background documents, meeting agendas, and other necessary materials regarding program delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Experience: A strong understanding of the K-12 education system is crucial. Experience in teaching or educational administration is preferred.A passion for financial education and investing is essential.
- Skills: Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage diverse audiences. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with Canva, Constant Contact, and Mailchimp is a plus.
- Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. A team player who can work independently and demonstrates a strong commitment to program goals.
- Other: Willingness to travel as needed to support program activities and events.
