Work with us to improve the quality of life throughout Georgia through partnerships with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Georgia Institute of Technology, and other organizations and make a bigger, greater impact than you ever thought possible.Description8:30a - 5:30p / Full Time / 40 HoursThe Pharmacy Controlled Substances Compliance Program Coordinator II will work to support the department of pharmacy to achieve its mission, goals, and vision.This position will be responsible for:Routine controlled substance auditsCompleting proactive controlled substance monitoringAnalyzing potential diversion casesContributing to departmental development and implementation of controlled substances (CS) best practicesAssisting with regulatory and accreditation compliance effortsOperations and teamwork that support department initiativesAuditing CS procurement activities to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and segregation of dutiesAuditing distributive functions performed by department personnel involving CSAuditing CS dispense, administration, return, and waste transactionsProviding data relative to suspected loss or diversion in response to internally reported incidents using automated reports and analyticsEducating employees as to CS process or best practice changes when neededDeveloping standard operating procedures to guide department and organization activity related to CS managementPresenting findings and/or data to multidisciplinary stakeholdersTroubleshooting diversion software and process issuesPreparing reports and presentations as neededParticipating in training and onboarding of local controlled substance compliance employeesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree required, and two (2) years of relevant project support experience. Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree.Proficiency in Excel required.JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!
