Job Summary:The Program Director is responsible for contractual, managerial, operational and administrative duties relating to the program. The Program Director represents Southwest Key Programs in all interactions with prospective, former and current youth/families, funding sources, suppliers andthe community served. The Program Director must maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working hours other than regular work schedule and evenings, weekends.Essential Functions:* The Program Director will serve as the primary liaison between the program and the funding source and will* work in partnership with the youth and family, funding source representatives, and community partners to facilitate each youth's participation in the program.* Ensure all contractual requirements and grant specific financial requirements are* Adhere to and implementation of the terms of the contract in accordance with the funding source and Southwest Key's Programs policy and procedures.* Monitor and evaluate all data in Southwest Key Programs database and pursue corrective action plan if outcomes and date are not meeting program model expectations.* Ensure all reports required are submitted to the Regional Executive Director, Funding Source, and national headquarters in a timely manner.* Ensure all billings and documents that are submitted to national headquarters are complete, accurate and on* Provide leadership, supervision and modeling to all employees, volunteers and/or* Comply with all employment and labor* Ensure the safe condition of the building, vehicles and all* Address all problematic work performance in accordance with company policy* Recruitment and hiring of all staff at the* Initiate and maintain community involvement with local juvenile justice boards, stakeholders and juvenile justice* Develop and maintain productive relations with various community* Monitor and maintain compliance with organization, licensing, and funding source for all program* Regular and punctual* Maintain and monitor cleanliness, security and safety of facility.Other Functions:* Maintain open and consistent communication with Regional Executive* Maintain all required trainings and* Travel as needed for trainings, meetings and* Provide youth transportation to and from program, as* Initiate and maintain effective communication with all program staff* Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as* Must be able to fill any as substitute if any staff are out to maintain required staff to youth* Ensure program is fiscally accountable.Qualifications and Requirements:* This position will require a Bachelors degree in Human Services, Education, or related field plus two (2)* years of related experience working with youth* Masters in Human or Social Service preferred* Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Word, Excel), variety of online database system.* Possess excellent verbal and writing skills* Clear criminal background checks from appropriate entity* Must possess a valid state driver's license* Bilingual preferredPhysical Demands:Must be able to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification. Must be able to perform physical holds. Be able to drive, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time. Daily use of various office equipment. Bending, stooping, climbing up stairs and lifting up to 15 lbs. required to complete daily tasks.Work Environment:Work shifts are subject to change. Noise levels vary from mild to moderate. Typical setting is office space with youth for extended periods of time. May be exposed to inclement weather conditions if driving youth to and from the program.
