Program Director - Tandym Group : Job Details

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a Program Director to lead operations at a mental health outpatient clinic. This role oversees administrative, operational, and fiscal aspects of the clinic, ensuring compliance, quality care delivery, and efficient program management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, and Medicaid billing compliance.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Leading clinic operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery
• Supervising clinical supervisors, clinicians, peer specialists, case managers, nursing staff, and administrative personnel
• Managing revenue cycle processes, Medicaid billing, and fiscal planning to ensure financial sustainability
• Overseeing compliance with OMH licensing, Medicaid/Medicare, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and CCBHC certification.
• Driving business management operations including client scheduling, staff productivity, and quality improvement
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align operational goals with best practices
• Supporting staff retention, onboarding, and professional development to maintain a strong, engaged workforce

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or related fields
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
• Experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Medicaid Billing, and Program Budgeting
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to foster collaboration and morale within a rapidly changing work environment

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related discipline
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Background in Startup, Change Management, or Program Implementation
• Familiarity with Federal and State Grant Management
• Experience in Community-based Healthcare settings
