Program Management Office (PMO) Analyst

You will join our team in partnership with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 7.2million New Yorkers through its Health Benefit Exchange.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Provide ongoing analytics and identify issues related to a variety of non-technical and technical project deliverables.
  • Conduct research and analytical studies on a variety of programs and issues; coordinates and expedites reports and program deliverables; develops procedures; formulates recommendations and prepares reports.
  • Conduct organizational analysis and evaluations, to prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for risk/issue management, schedule management, change management, and other areas to be assigned.
  • Utilizes modeling and measuring techniques.
  • Researches, identifies, and assists in the formulation of recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.
  • Participates in the development of new processes and documents, or updates the existing processes and documents, to meet client needs.
  • Writes and updates project documentation including procedures and training materials.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (No substitution)

Experience:

  • Three (3) plus years' of applicable experience
  • Two (2) years of project metrics and status reporting
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload

Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Products
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • SharePoint proficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and quickly adapt to changes

The likely salary range for this position is $66,300 - $89,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
