Job Summary

As a Program Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between IS and business stakeholders. Your primary focus will be to ensure the successful development and implementation of programs that enhance user experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance both the franchise and customer experience.
  • Conduct interviews, analyze documents, and perform site visits to develop program strategies and implementation plans that achieve key business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate program adoption, including creating training materials, executing training, and developing user documentation.
  • Challenge business units to think critically about their execution plans and assumptions.
  • Utilize process improvement techniques to document current and future processes, identifying overall program needs.
  • Facilitate the creation of business cases, program roadmaps, and governance structures to support Project Managers. Present findings to the IS Governance Board for approval and prioritization.
  • Identify interdependencies among projects to mitigate impacts on IS and other functional areas.
  • Identify, track, and manage program-level risks and issues, serving as the escalation point to resolve challenges and communicate status to the executive leadership team.
  • Act as the central communication point for program status updates among team members, stakeholders, management, and executives, ensuring accurate reporting in collaboration with the PMO Manager.
  • Assess overall program success by engaging with franchises and company divisions.
  • Gather and analyze post-implementation feedback to drive future process improvements.
  • Contribute insights to enhance the solution delivery lifecycle used across the organization.
  • Participate in assigned development planning and prioritization efforts as needed.
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in your assigned areas and share your insights with team members.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing initiatives.

You Bring

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Experience in web-based system development, with a preference for Microsoft technologies and business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with Visio being a plus.
  • Strong analytical and program management skills rooted in an understanding of customer business needs.
  • A capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure office environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • A desire for quality and a deep understanding of program needs.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively on complex projects.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and focused on customer satisfaction.

Educational Requirements

  • A high school diploma with a minimum of four years' experience in a business or technology-related field.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure office setting.
  • Standard working hours based on a 40-hour week.
  • Additional hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Travel up to 20% may be required.
