Description OPEN UNTIL FILLEDJOB SUMMARY:The Program Manager I/II, in collaboration with other IDC management staff, is responsible to manage the day-to-day operation of the IDC's employment services. Activities include, but are not limited to, establishing, implementing and monitoring person-centered services plans, management of training, employment options, and support services for persons served, staff supervision, and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulatory standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide lead supervision to assigned staff in order to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services and opportunities for professional development.
  • Generate and process referrals to maximize utilization of resource and budgeted revenues.
  • Provide for individualized assessments, development of person-centered plans, monitoring of progress on plans, and maintenance of record keeping systems that lead to personal and/or economic growth for persons served.
  • Participate in public relations activities to ensure community awareness of the IDC's employment and support services and to provide opportunities for community employment/integration for persons served.
  • In collaboration with other staff, identity potential 3rd party transportation providers for individuals to get to and from work.
  • Ensure compliance with Agency policies and procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations and funding source requirements.
  • Provide discharge/follow-up services in accordance with established procedures to persons served who leave the IDC.
  • Provide a leadership role in appropriate intervention in crises and emergencies to include the following: (a) Provide ongoing training and support to staff to recognize changes in behavior of persons served that may lead to crisis situations. (b) Serve as a resource to staff during crisis and emergency situations. (c) Ensure that agency protocol and processes are followed during crisis and emergency situations. (d) Acquire other resources as deemed necessary.
  • OTHER DUTIES:
    • As applicable, oversee the administration and documentation of medications to persons served in accordance with established procedures and physician's orders.
    • Perform such other duties as assigned by supervisor.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Extensive knowledge of mental health, substance use disorders and developmental disabilities.
    • Supervisory experience
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    Minimum Requirements EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:Level 12 - Equivalent experience may be considered to include three (3) years of experience in providing direction, development, implementation, and monitoring of individual service plans to ensure appropriate services are provided to meet the needs of individuals servedORLevel 13 - Bachelor's degree in a human services field plus one year of documented experience working directly with individuals with disabilities is preferred Valid driver's license and safe driving record
