**Overview**:
Are you an experienced program manager seeking a new challenge in the defense industry? We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to join our team in Orlando, Florida. **Responsibilities**:
1. Oversee and lead the execution of complex projects and programs within the defense industry, with a particular focus on DOD manufacturing and subcontracting.
2. Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
3. Develop and implement program management plans, including risk mitigation strategies and resource allocation.
4. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the program lifecycle.
5. Monitor and report on program performance, including cost, schedule, and technical aspects, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality standards, particularly those specific to the defense industry.
**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Proven track record of at least 5 years in program management within the defense industry, with a comprehensive understanding of DOD manufacturing and subcontracting.
3. Experience working with the Navy and Marines is highly advantageous.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results in a fast-paced environment.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.
