**Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a** **Program Manager - Trade Finance & Regulatory Compliance** **to join their team.** **As a Program Manager** , you will be part of the **Trade Finance** department supporting **global trade finance operations, regulatory compliance, and portfolio management teams** . The ideal candidate will have **strong project management skills, deep expertise in trade finance instruments, and a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance** , which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Program Manager - Trade Finance & Regulatory Compliance
**Location:** Charlotte or Des Moines highly preferred; can consider AZ, Minneapolis, or Dallas
**What's the Job?**
1. **Lead end-to-end project lifecycles** using methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.
2. **Optimize and manage Global Receivables in Trade (GRT) portfolios** , performing risk analysis and implementing mitigation strategies.
3. **Collaborate with teams to implement trade finance strategies** , including letters of credit, guarantees, and supply chain finance initiatives.
4. **Ensure compliance with international trade laws, sanctions, AML requirements** , and other regulatory frameworks, overseeing documentation, reporting, and audit processes.
5. **Monitor and report on portfolio risk exposures** , developing contingency plans to address emerging risks or regulatory changes.
**What's Needed?**
1. **Bachelor's degree** in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
2. **10+ years of experience** in project or program management, with a focus on trade finance or financial services.
3. **Solid understanding of Global Receivables in Trade (GRT)** and related portfolios.
4. **Experience managing regulatory compliance projects** in a financial services environment, specifically around Basel III/IV or similar frameworks.
5. **Certification in project management (PMP or Agile)** is highly desirable.
