This position is focused on the transition from design concept through to successful customer installation and commissioning.
- Ensure effective implementation of new machinery and engineering adjustments, guiding projects from concept to successful launch at client locations.
- Craft and uphold timelines to consistently monitor and track the progress of customer programs.
- Function as the key contact point linking customers with engineering and management throughout project execution.
- Possess substantive experience in managing programs successfully.
- Keep clients and internal teams updated and engaged with project updates.
- Administer project budgets, monitoring cost efficiency and timelines closely.
- Prepare and update project schedules, reporting progress to upper management weekly.
- Quickly identify potential program risks and devise effective solutions to address them.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Sound knowledge of industry-specific products.
- Effective presentation abilities.
- Technical insights in relevant fields.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational Background and Experience Required:
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in the automation industry with a clear understanding of estimating practices.
- A bachelors degree in a business or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with common office software applications is a must.
