Job Title: Program Manager - Strategy

Location: Manhattan, NY

Job Type: Contract to Hire (6 months contract)

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager with a strong background in strategy to join our team. This role is ideal for a mid-level to senior professional who excels in strategic planning and execution, rather than traditional delivery program management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define program goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversee multiple projects and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to project teams.
  • Monitor program performance and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Manage program risks and develop mitigation plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic program management or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Local candidates preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in market research and competitive analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and business case development.
  • Certification in program management (e.g., PgMP) is a plus.
