Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Program Manager to lead innovative projects in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. The Program Manager will oversee projects from initiation to completion, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful execution. Working alongside Sales Account Management and Technical Leads, this individual will play a key role in bringing cutting-edge solutions to life.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead project development from initial concept to final production, including R&D activities before program award.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure seamless communication throughout project execution.
  • Track milestones and provide detailed status reports, escalating critical issues as necessary.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and team members to drive project success.
  • Coordinate with external subcontractors such as tool shops and automation suppliers to maintain timelines and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management tools and best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in an engineering discipline; Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project/Program Manager in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably with new product development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with automation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • Ability to manage complex timelines, ensuring smooth transitions from initial production runs to full-scale release.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments and teams.
  • Capable of translating technical and procedural requirements into clear, actionable steps for diverse teams.
  • Experience in plastic molding or medical device a plus.
