Job Summary
As the Senior Program/Project Assistant for Student Affairs in the Office of Experiential Learning, you will provide high-level administrative support for the Experiential Learning program in the College of Pharmacy, the group of professionals therewithin, licensure coordination and career-related events. This individual will work independently with oversight by the Director of Experiential Learning Administration. The successful candidate will answer independently or triage questions from students in all four years of the professional program; plan and attend the Experiential Learning Advisory Council meetings and take the minutes; support the Career Development Advisory Council and serve as the registration coordinator for all experiential courses. In addition, this position will coordinate all professional licensing procedures for graduating students.

The Office of Experiential Learning is a tight-knit team within the College of Pharmacy that supports doctors of pharmacy students to be successful practitioners and pharmacy leaders through direct engagement learning opportunities at diverse, high-quality training sites hosted by faculty and volunteer teachers over the duration of the doctor of pharmacy program.
What We Are Looking For :
Required:
* HS diploma/GED
* Associate or bachelor's degree preferable
* Minimum three (3) years of clerical/office, licensure, career services or registration experience required.
* Experience maintaining and reporting with electronic management systems (i.e. databases, Purdue systems, etc.)
Skills needed:
* Proficiency in word processing and database/spreadsheet use necessary.
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
* Must have ability to organize and prioritize work load efficiently, make independent decisions, take initiative, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
* Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
* Must be able to collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within and external to the university to support department needs.
* Ability to interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processes. Ability to identify problems and implement or recommend solutions.
